Locals We Love
Just a few of the places around the valley that we recommend you check out whilst you’re here!
Fig Tree Estate - The name is no coincidence, they have a magnificent fig tree on site that has been around for over 100 years. Not to mention delicious wines and cider.
Funk Cider -The cool kids in town! Forget what you know about cider and discover the wonderful world of preservative-free, natural ciders made from cold-pressed apple juice. Kids and dogs are welcome, with tables provided on the big veranda outside
Mash Brewery -The multi award-winning beers at Mash Brewing may be seriously good, but this world class, locally-built craft brewery is famous for being anything but serious. The restaurant serves a great range of simple, beer-friendly, mod-oz fare.
Old Young’s - Award winning spirits that will win you over & lift your spirits! The Pavlova vodka is a must try! True to their name, Old Young’s brings tradition together with new techniques and a flair for the unusual (think cold-drip coffee, the pavlova-flavoured vodka and a gin called Old BAG)
Pandemonium Estate - I know they’re in a different suburb but they’re less than a minute up the road! Head to these guys to check out their Shiraz blends, their modern Spanish themed cellar door, and of course they also have gin…
Quest Apartments - Your pet friendly friendly stay in the heart of Midland, just a short drive from The Swan Valley. Why not take a break and bring along your fur family, stay at Quest and head out to the many pet friendly Swan Valley destinations.
Taylor’s Cafe - Taylor’s is a must for a true taste of the Swan Valley. Part cafe, part art studio, the team here is passionate about serving fresh, organic & ethical food with quality coffee in a uniquely Australian setting. The menu changes with what’s available in the garden, so there are always new dishes to enjoy.
The House of Honey - Check out our friends just down the road, raw, pure, unpasteurised and unadulterated varietal honeys are just the beginning of a visit to this bee-guiling venue. Taste their range of meads and liqueurs and don’t forget to see their live bee display!
Tyler’s Vineyard - You’ll be greeted by a goose, a goat and a golden retriever that will melt your heart! These guys have everything, sparkling, white, rose, red, fortified and all from their gnarly 100 yr old grenache vines! You can also take a photo of yourself in the vineyard and get it printed onto your wine bottle! Awesome wine gifts!
Ugly Duckling Wines - This place is awesome for your tour group. Friendly, approachable staff, great wines & platters, in a charming rustic atmosphere. You can even bring your dog as well!
Whistler’s Chocolate Company - For over 40 years Whistler's has been making traditional chocolates and confectionery from recipes passed down from generation to generation. Whistler's is now Western Australia's oldest chocolate company and an iconic brand, representing quality and good old-fashioned traditions.
